Treat yourself to all the holistically healthy treatments you deserve at the Banyan Tree Spa

The Banyan Tree Hotel recently unveiled the luxurious Banyan Tree Spa, which features 16 well-appointed treatment rooms on the 19th and 20th floors.

A real pleasure here is the signature Rain Mist experience, a rejuvenating Banyan Tree Spa innovation combining steam and shower facilities at the treatment bed. This 150-minute exquisite aqua-therapy treatment is offered in contemporary Thai-style Grand Spa suites built for couples. The suite is divided into two separate rooms: a steam/mist room and a massage room. The treatment starts with a foot bath in warm water mixed with apple tea. Then you will be led to the big steam room with two separate beds equipped with steam facilities for the bathing ritual combining a shower, orange and yoghurt scrub, honey and milk conditioning treatment, and steaming and finishing mist-shower. After the wet part is over, the therapist will escort you to the massage room for a one-hour massage of your choice. The massage will finish with a face and head massage. The treatment is ended with the therapist wiping excessive massage oil from your body with a warm towel followed by body spray with rose water.

In addition, the four Deluxe Spa suites offer steam, jet-pool bath and shower facilities. This complements the three existing Double Spa suites and six Single Spa suites. Guests can enjoy the panoramic floor-to-ceiling views of Bangkok available in many of the treatment rooms.

A beauty salon offers manicures and pedicures as well as hairstyling. Guests with a hectic lifestyle can achieve a more holistic balance in life by attending yoga classes in the Meditation Sphere. Peace can be found in the Bamboo Aisle, a peaceful, garden-like space.

First-time visitors to Banyan Tree Spa are encouraged to try the signature Royal Banyan and Rejuvenation packages. The Royal Banyan features the exclusive Banyan massage, which combines the best of East and West massage techniques and uses a harmony of intricate and rhythmic strokes to ease away tension and work its magic on the senses.

Spa goers can opt to go for yoga, meditation, aerobics or aqua-aerobics classes or choose to achieve a full body work-out at the gymnasium or swim in the pool on the Sky Deck. Light snacks and beverages are available at the Juice Bar. The Pool Bar offers Thai, Chinese and international dishes. On the same floor as the spa, guests can find the Banyan Tree Spa Gallery where an exclusive range of aromatherapy accessories, essential oils, incense sticks as well as pampering hair and body care collections are on sale for those who want to create their own spa at home.
