Why must Abhisit imposed the security act when the red shirt want to demonstrate peacefully. Unlike the yellow shirts who use violence and storm the airport which is a criminal act, the red shirt have done nothing of that sort. Instead they were provoked by the police and military into using violent means. The current state of affair between Thailand and Cambodia is the result of Abhisit incompetency. If he has just ignore Thaksin appointment, Thaksin would have been left in the cold and everything would have been just as normal. As to Preah Vihear, after all the hue and cry when Somchai and Samak were the PM, what have Abhisit achieve now. Instead he and the yellow shirts have been snubbed together and they are now like little mouse. Hun Sen has repeated said he will shoot if Thai personnels encroached. Joe, your comments against Frankie and Bravo are deplorable. Frankie indeed has a point as Abhisit is a young and talented man. The only thing hindering him is that he is surrounded by vultures ready to rip him and the country apart through their power bargaining and money politics. It is hope that he will be able to bring the level of corruption down but then he is too weak to do anything as he is being controlled by Suthep and the military. Before anything get out of hand it is hope that he will dissolve Parliament and called for a new election. This way he may emerge stronger. |

What is of utmost important is how our country will be managed for the benefit of the people and country. There is still much political divide among the people and it seem that Abhisit is doing nothing at all. With his coalition and Democrat party fighting for survival, I wonder how he can manage the country competently. Its a good thing that the red shirt have called off the rally but it won`t be long before they come back again.
