It is pointless amending the Constitution when the army can disrespect it (and the people) any time it wants. Look at the track record. It's one damn coup after another. Politicians,the miliatry,police,the media,bussinessmen,civil servents and even academics are to blame for all the ills and corruption that have been plaguing society. Besides the above,there are also many foreign thugs and criminals who have come to Thailand to rape and rob the country. Therfore it is extremely difficult to find a convenient way out of the current political conflict and crisis, rooted in the selfish interests of the key players described above. Their positions now have diverged from the public interest, and many have already moved into war mode.
