… ROTFLMAO! … To illustrate Frankie’s myopic thinking: Abhisit is quoted: “We'd like to see professional armed forces and we recognize the problems that we've seen over the last 7 or 8 years.” Frankie (aka bangna trad) wrote: “…when Abhisit refers to “over the last 7 or 8 years” it goes back to…thaksin too.” Well, Duh! Of course it does! By writing nonsense like this: “áÁéÇâ¡Ë¡ ÁçͺàÊ×éÍá´§·ÒÊ·Ñ¡ÉÔ³âªÇì¤ÇÒÁ ¶èÍ ªÑèÇ àÅÇ·ÃÒÁ”, Frankie continues to prove he’s unable to wrap his vacuous head around the concept that anti-coup, pro-democracy champions aren’t necessarily Thaksin supporters. Frankie’s argument crumbles when he can’t pigeonhole honest people on this very sage and coherent point. Until he sorts that out, Frankie will continue to make the same rookie mistakes, day in and day out. (LOL!) Oh, Frankie in Blinkered Land! |

Total and complete amnesty is what the tame but un-housebroken dog, his red shits, and his guilty cronies want. Why care about moving democracy forward when they selfishly want is just the whitewashing of their crimes. No sense of remorse whatsoever, no feeling of guilt, no need to concern themselves of what the country needs. That’s the true measure of thaksin and his supporters. |

58.9 and 58.8 áÁéÇâ¡Ë¡ ÁçͺàÊ×éÍá´§·ÒÊ·Ñ¡ÉÔ³âªÇì¤ÇÒÁ ¶èÍ ªÑèÇ àÅÇ·ÃÒÁ what is it that you don’t understand.. BTW 58.8 when Abhisit refers to “over the last 7 or 8 years” it goes back to the regime of that sq face liar thaksin too. |

Re Guns or Butter Pay no mind to Frankie the Fabricator and his babyish multiple IDs like thai, old thai, bangna trad, not disappointed, cholburi pad, etc, etc. You're point is well stated and aptly noted. Abhisit himself, to his credit, criticizes the lack of a professional Thai military. "The military budgets are booming again..." "We'd like to see professional armed forces..." Full text here: http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2009/02/21/politics/politics_30096274.php CNBC: Since the 2006 coup though it seems as though the military has been back on the ascendant. The military budgets are booming again, we see a lot more generals back on the boards of big companies in Thailand. I guess the question is, in terms of economic efficiency - guns and butter may not mix very well. THAI PM: We'd like to see professional armed forces and we recognize the problems that we've seen over the last 7 or 8 years. Keeping it Real. |

Yo 58.9(not 59.5)/125.24/without respect, here’s some facts for you, it’s a quote of the British ambassador; “·ÙµÍѧ¡ÄÉ” ÂéÓ “áÁéÇ” à»ÅÕè¹ÊѪҵÔá¤è¢èÒÇÅ×Í ªÕé “Ãº.ÁÒÃ줔 á¡é»ÑËÒÈ¡.¶Ù¡·Ò§ “·ÙµÍѧ¡ÄÉ” á¹Ð´ÑºÇԡĵàÈÃɰ¡Ô¨âÅ¡µéͧãªé “ËÅÑ¡ÊÙµÃâÅ¡” ¹Ò¹Ò»ÃÐà·È¼¹Ö¡äÍà´Õ ªÕéµèÒ§¤¹µèÒ§·Óä»äÁèÃÍ´ à¼ÂàÇ·Õ¨Õ 20 ÃͿѧäÍà´Õ “ÁÒÃ줔 °Ò¹Ð »¸.ÍÒà«Õ¹ àʹÍá¹Ç·Ò§´ÑºÇԡĵ ¾ÃéÍÁªÕéú.ÁÒÃì¤á¡éàÈÃɰ¡Ô¨¶Ù¡·Ò§à»ç¹ä»ä´é´éÇÂ´Õ á¨§¢èÒÇ “áÁéÇ” à»ÅÕè¹ÊѪҵÔà¾×èÍ¢ÍÇÕ«èÒà¢éÒÍѧ¡ÄÉá¤è¢èÒÇÅ×Í ÂéÓÍÂèÒä»àª×èÍà¶×Í It has been widely reported that Abhisit was personally invited by the British PM due to his British upbringing and education and as he is the ASEAN Chair. The British PM wants a close connection with ASEAN and what better way than to invite a British educated foreign leader who is both a PM of an important ASEAN country as its Chair. (That Abhisit also is a fan of Liverpool is an added plus.) Additionally the nine member nations of ASEAN have given Abhisit their full trust to represent them at the G20 meeting. What is it that you don’t understand 58.8? |

125.24/59.50/without respect, I understand the point of nd’s posts to you; do you? Why you’ve never made any attempt to rebut his reference to your March 3rd half truths and true lies? You have avoided doing so by making distraction to a different, but same theme of indirect attack of the army that deposed the “tame dog and fly shit on the asshole of the universe” thaksin. You’re ‘broken record’ and endless referral of facts on the same subject ‘daily’ to an inordinately high budget for the army is in and of itself an indirect attempt to discredit the army. Well what they did was a good thing to kick out that sq faced liar and democratic tyrant thaksin shinawatra fugitive and convicted criminal. |
Who said I was trying to discredit the army ? I do no such thing. I simply published the facts that since the 2006 coup, the Thai army take on GDP has more than doubled. Two things follow from that; 1. The army benefitted from the 2006 coup. Therefore the character assassination of Taksin takes a different complexion. 2. Thai people through a diminished GDP, suffer a financial impoverishment as a result of the decision to fund the army at a higher rate in 2009. Of course you could argue this is a good thing should social order breaks down as a result of the world financial meltdown. I would agree with that point because it is quite rational. Are you insisting, not disappointed, that you can say whatever you like in condemnation of who ever you like but we remaing bloggers cannot report factual data collected by independent third parties ? Now if so , it is beginning to sound like you are making the fiats of a dictator such as Hitler, Idi Armin and the asian Pol Pot. May I remind you Thailand is a democratic country ? |
If one is going to stroke Abhisit they should at least be factually accurate: ... G20 ... “Mr. Abhisit said he would discuss the upcoming G-20 London meeting…in which he has been invited to participate as representative of the ASEAN chair.” British PM Brown allegedly extended the invite to Mark “as representative of the ASEAN chair.” Frankie suffers from a vast credibility gap on the subject of reading basic economic data as does Mark when it comes to demonstrating credible leadership. In short, Frankie and Mark both need to develop some street cred. Let’s hope Mark brings demonstrated competence and not just a pretty face to the G20. Thailand and ASEAN depend on it. |
Prime Minister Abhisit has been invited to London to meet with world leaders of the G8. An educated leader, The Prime Minister, has quickly gained the respect of world leaders. Aren't you glad it isn't the judge or the cook representing this country on the world stage. Also, no dogs allowed. |

Re: 58.8. Hello Steven. Have you taken the dog out this morning? If you live in a glass house Steven. You shouldn't throw stones. Multiple IDs. Ha Ha Ha |
I have made too many rebuttals to you 58.9/125.24/without respect concerning your distorted logic. Once past that we now have to focus on the writer himself (you) who in every posts tries to distort and manipulate with half truths and true lies. As with your post of March 3 to which I highlighted your deception; there’s nothing wrong with your ‘facts’ per se; it’s just that you withhold, neglect to, and do not provide full and pertinent disclosure of the facts and evidences. Therefore, go ahead and posts your half truths and true lies in your single-minded attempt to discredit the army; those of us who are regulars on this forum will either choose to retort any blatant lies or simply ignore your posts. |
thaksin, the self-avowed “tame domestic dog’ forgot to say that he hasn’t yet been housebroken. All of us can see this clearly, since he has chosen to shit and make a mess, all over the ‘house’ that is Thailand. Not only that, he has urged all of his ¶èÍÂâªÇìpack to do the same. So now we have rabid dogs that are not housebroken, shitting and making a mess all over the country. Thanks thaksin; and this is how you show your loyalty to HMK? Thaksin doesn’t need to be tamed; he needs to be put down. This could well happen fairly soon as his world is rapidly shrinking to third world countries and he will need to spend more of his corrupted money for airplane fuel. No longer will democratically minded countries or countries that no longer see any National interest in letting a wild dog roam free. |
From Dubai the fugative Shinawatra said "I am a dog ". At last he speaks the truth. |
... Public Service Reminder ... Same Frankie lies, multiple IDs, and infantile behavior. What else would you expect from Frankie? He’s proven himself unable to read simple financial data, plus he’s a habitual liar that’s also been proven to be hiding behind multiple IDs in this forum: Frankie= bangna trad cholburi pad not disappointed bravo buic asoka old git Karl “enter new ID here” If Frankie was a mature, honest, logical-thinking adult, he wouldn’t hide like a coward behind multiple IDs. Oh, Frankie in Yella'-belly Land! |
What's with all this stuff about lies and deception ? I simply pointed out that a bigger percentage of Thai GDP is now going to the army than was the case during the Taksin era. In 2005 it was 2 billion U.S. dollars. In 2009 it is budgeted for 5 billion U.S. dollars I quoted figures. I gave the source for those figures. Over to you now.....can you rebuff ? Something wrong with my logic ? Then debate. That's democracy. Play the argument, not the personality. (Quite frankly that's what you do when the name of Taksin comes up.) |
Even though thaksin compares himself to a “domestic dog” However he failed to complete his comparison to say that he is a “RABID DOG” running around spewing his rabid saliva to his ¶èÍ“red shits”. See? This is just one example of half truths and true lies by the master himself! Those posters who loyally follow his lead like 58.9/125.24 try very hard to be like their master. |
Frankie, thaksinistas know the facts but they’re more comfortable with distortions and fabrications. Half truths and true lies are the hallmark of the thaksinista poster. |
125.24/58.9, I know you posted your ‘logic’ to not disappointed but I couldn’t help but want to add my comments to your half truths and true lies. You say you present the facts and apply logic to make your case. It is a FACT that piece posted that Thailand’s economy contracted by 6.1% when in reality it contracted a little over 4% in just the “4th Qtr”. In “the 4th Qtr” (only one Qtr not the whole year!) is quite different to your allegation that “Thailand economic downturn. . .”. Your style of writing would have people believe that the downturn was for the full year. Your posting without providing details leads people to understand that it is full year downturn. Now you exacerbate piece’s half truth to make a clarification after the ‘fact’ using a vague “various estimates” to justify and support piece’s distorted fact. The FACT is that the Federation of Thai Industries, NESDB, and Bank of Thailand, ALL, point to a contraction of the economy, IN THE 4TH QTR of 4.3%. On March 3rd you logically posted, under a different IP, more distortions and half truths without presenting evidence or foregoing details and the complete FACTS. Then you tried to brush away your distortions by further distortions. Now you try to brush side getting caught in your half truths and true lies by further distortions and distractions by stating that you are the actually one who posts facts and uses logic while others try to discredit you. Your distortions aren’t going to work because anyone and everyone who have read and kept up with the byplay between you and not disappointed will have already realized that you are just the typical thaksinista who always manipulates the facts and truths using a one-sided logic to discredit thaksin’s detractors and the army. You mislead and pull the people in by your “distorted fact” and then your build upon this distortion to discredit others. |
