The government, particularly Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej, are major causes that widened the problems.

He was speaking the special joint session between the Lower House and the Senate on Sunday. The session was urgently conducted after police used forces to disperse the anti-government protesters and the protesters' siege of the Government House.
