Some 2,000 protesters rally at Democracy Monument



Some 2,000 anti-junta protesters rally at the Democracy Monument Sunday night, blocking part of the Rajdamnoen Avenue.

The demonstration was organised by the PTV satellite TV founder and began at Sanam Luang.

The demonstrators started moving from Sanam Luang to the Democracy Monument at 8:15 pm.

They reached the monument at 8:40 pm and their number grew to over 2,000.

Their leaders attacked the coup by the Council for National Security.
