Thailand won the World's Best Tourist Country 2007 from a Norwegian travel magazine, its fourth consecutive year to win the award, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the Norwegian Grand Travel Awards 2007 held in Oslo, the capital city of Norway, Thailand was voted by more than 300 travelling companies as "The World's Best Tourist Country". Thailand comes as the top, followed by Greece, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Brazil, the US, France, the UK and Sweden.

Travel News, a travel magazine from Norway had organized the award for 12 years consecutively and have 17 awards altogether.

The national carrier Thai Airways also won The Best International Airlines as well.
