PAD dissolved

The People's Alliance for Democracy announced Thursday that it ceases to exist after its goal to see the Thaksin regime toppled has been accomplished.

PAD leaders held a press conference at 11 am at Manager head office to announce the dissolution of the PAD.

Attending the press conference were PAD leaders Sondhi Limthongkul, Somsak Kosaisuk, Somkiat Pongpaibool, and Pipop Thongchai as well as PAD coordinator Suriyasai Katasila.  Another PAD leader, Chamlong Srimuang, was not present.

The press conference was held at 11 am.
