Wall St ends lower
overnight over concerns over global economic slowdown.
Ongoing concerns about Europe’s debt crises and disappointing US housing and job market numbers combined to drive down all three major WallStreet indices.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 250.82 points, or 1.96 per cent to 12,573.57. The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index lost 30.18 points, or 2.23 per cent, to 1,325.51.
Nasdaq composite dropped 71.36 points, or 2.44. per cent, to 2,859.09.//DPA
