Thaksin visits US
Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has kickstarted his two-week visit to the United States by having dinner at a Thai restaurant in New York City.
Thaksin, escorted by several Korean bodyguards, was seen on Tuesday at a popular eatery Pongsri.
His redshirt supporters formed a welcoming committee and yellowshirt opponents too were on hand to boo him.
