Anand remains as complainant witness in charter amendment case: court spokesman
Former prime minister Anand Panyarachun is still on the witness list of a complainant against charter amendments, the spokesman of the Constitution Court said Monday.
Pimol Thampithakpong, the chief spokesman of the court, said Senator Surachai Liangboonchai had not yet withdrawn Anand's name from this list of witnesses.Surachai was among complainants against charter amendments, alleging that the amendments would violate Article 68 of the current Constitution.
Anand has said he knew nothing about the complaint and he wanted his name to be withdrawn.
