Thai stocks gained 6.72 points or 1.01 per cent when the market was open for trading Wednesday morning.

The composite index of the Stock Exchange of Thailand rose to 675.20 at 10:04 am with a trading value of Bt877.91 million.

The blue-chip SET50 rose 5.29 points or 1.13 per cent to 474.79.

The top five active stocks were PTTEP, TTA, PTT, CPF and KYE.
