The temperature on mountaintops in Chiang Mai may drop to 6 to 9 Celsius degree from Tuesday to Sunday, the Northern Meteorological Office said Monday.

The office issued a statement to warn Chiang Mai people that the temperature could drop between two to 5 C degrees during the period due to a strong high pressure mass from China.
