Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra Friday denied that he will fly to Phnom Penh to celebrate the Loy Krathong Festival with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Pheu Thai's Samut Prakan MP Pracha Prasopdee earlier said Thaksin will fly in his personal jet to Phnom Penh to celebrate the festival with Hun Sen on Monday.

Thaksin said he will stay in Brunei with Muslim people.
