The Continuing Success of WMSL's Bonanza

One of the biggest Insurance Company, and 2 Asset Management companies in Thailand just selected Bonanza Investment to be implemented to their organization. Last quarter of last year, WMSL successfully got 11 new Bonanza projects such as Private Wealth Management, Fund Accounting, Investment, Registrar, and Selling Agent from top financial institutions like KBank, TMB Bank, SEC, and the Crown Property Bureau, just to name a few. The Nation Newspaper quoted that WMSL leads over 44% of the market share in Thailand and now holds an Asset Under Management worth 50 Billion USD, which just to prove that WMLS is still the preferred vendor of most top financial institutions in Thailand.

This year also witnessed the partnership of WMSL and other Global IT Companies. Thomson Reuters and WMSL agreed to deliver Thomson Reuters end-of-day pricing and corporate actions data to the investment community in Thailand through WMSL's new standard interface on the Bonanza system. This will enable financial institutions in the region to automate portfolio valuations for delivering better customer service and improving risk and compliance monitoring. WMSL also further improve its financial solutions by joining Intel's software partner program. Most of its solutions as of now use new Intel Technologies such as Intel's Multi-Core Technology.

WMSL is also one of the selected top class software firms from ITAP (Industrial Technology Assistant Program) and Software Park Thailand to subsidize for CMM's standard. In its effort to further advance its software development competency, WMSL selected GPI Asia, a German-based company who provides consulting services to companies like Reuters UK to achieve the CMMI Level 5 Standard. Last November, WMSL already achieved the World Class Standard "Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 3" from SEI - USA. Currently, WMSL is now in the process to achieve the CMMI Level 5 standard, the highest standard of software development.

Other than financial software, WMSL is also keen to provide reliable financial consulting service to its customers. The company's consulting unit, the Wealth Consulting Group (WCG), has been rated as Class A consultant both for Finance and Information Technology Section by Thai Consultant Center, Ministry of Finance since 2002. Our Senior Consultants served as Risk Management Consultants for Public Debt Management Office of the Ministry of Finance, as well as for Foreign Debt Management of the New Bangkok International Airport Co., Ltd. (Suvarnabhumi Airport). Just recently, WMSL cooperated with Chula Unisearch to consult for Cooperative Promotion Department's 1-Year Risk Management project.
