
"It's considered the best-ever earnings that company have done since listing on the stock market over the past 30 years," said President Adirek Sripratak.
He said the company's key success is from four major factors: consisting of; the improvement of production efficiency; returns on investments abroad; value-added product expansion; and oil price level which is lower than that the same period last year.
As a result, Adirek said CPF would pay a dividend at 23 satang per share for its 2009's first-half operation and expected to pay dividend at the same rate for second half of this year.
He also expects that if the there is no any shocking [from the political situation] in the second half of this year, the company's earnings growth in the second half should be better than the first half.
