Thailand proceeds with banks' sale
Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij said the Finance Ministry is ready to proposals for a 30.6 per cent stake it holds in ACL Bank.
He also said on Friday that the Financial Institutions Development Fund is likely to sell its entire 47.58 per cent stake in Siam City Bank to a single buyer. He said that both local and foreign institutions have shown interest in buying up the stake. The ministry is reviewing the FIDF's proposal to sell the shares.
