
- Krung Thai Bank offers discounts of up to 30 per cent for its nonperforming assets (NPAs) on sale at "The 8th NPA Grand Sale" until Sunday at Central Plaza Lat Phrao. Those who buy NPAs at the fair will pay an ownershipright transfer fee of only 0.0051 per cent.
Meanwhile, the bank has launched two promotional campaigns. The first is "Transfer or Withdrawal, KTB Gives You", under which customers who make at least five crosszone and crossbank money transfers and withdrawals through ATM, Krung Thai Visa debit cards, telebanking via KTB Online@ Mobile and KTB Pocket Banking between June 29 and August 4 will be eligible to win a Honda Click motorcycle and 43 Nokia 5130 Xpress Music handsets. The lucky draw will be held on September 10.
The second is "KTB Visa Debut Bonus Point", allowing customers using Krung Thai Visa Debit and Visa Electron cards until June 30 next year one point for each Bt25 spent towards a redemption gift voucher from department stores, hypermarkets and restaurants, movie tickets, expressway coupons, mobilephone prepaid cards and donations to charities.
- BBL Asset Management is rolling out three foreign investment funds - Bualuang Thanasarn Plus 18/09 (BP18/09), Bualuang Thanasarn Plus 19/09 (BP19/09) and Bualuang Thanasarn Plus 20/09 (BP20/09) - until next Friday. BP19/09, BP19/09 and BP20/09 are six, 12 and 24-month funds, respectively, with the minimum subscription set at Bt10,000 for each.
- Krung Thai Asset Management has reopened sale of the Krung Thai Capital Protection Fixed 6M Fund 4 (KTFIX6M4) until next Friday. The fund has a policy to invest in Thai government bonds, treasury bills, negotiable certificates of deposit and banks' deposit accounts.
- Kasikorn Asset Management is launching an initial public offering of K Korean Government Bond 2YD (KKG2YD) until next Thursday. The fund has a policy to invest in South Korean government bonds and all investment is fully hedged against foreignexchange risk. The minimum purchase is Bt10,000.
- Krungthai Card until July 19 is allowing customers to redeem KTC Forever Rewards Points for a 10percent discount at The Mall, Emporium, Central, Robinson, Siam Paragon and Zen department stores.
The first 200 KTC cardholders who spend Bt50,000 in total at the stores via the cards and send the sales slips to KTC Travel Service from July 20 to August 20 are eligible to win a onenight voucher at a hotel in the Best Western Group, valued at a maximum of Bt6,000.
- KrungthaiAXA Life has introduced a shortterm savings plan called "Krungthai Premier Saving", under which customers will have just a twoyear premium payment period while receiving protection for 10 years. In addition, customers get a minimum total benefit of 228.5 per cent of the sum insured.
The new product is available for those aged up to 70. The minimum sum assured is Bt50,000 per annum, with no maximum.
