Tonight for the first time in Bangkok renowned DJ and producer James Talk will be working his unique brand of magic on the dancefloor at Bed Supperclub.
Known for his spellbinding live performance, funky techno sets and mixing talents, Talk never fails to hypnotise the crowd with his music. Born and bred in Southampton, he forged his unique sounds of funky techno and acid house during long days in the studio, heading out at night to work at parties and clubs all over the city.
Some overnight successes fade as quickly as they appeared but Talk has shown that his arrival at the top was hard earned and rightful. Proof that the spotlight wasn't shining on a phoney talent came when the DJ was invited to guest mix at John Digweed's Kiss 100 show. The mix became a huge success, with praise from wide and far, and Talk James started his journey along a truly rosy path.
In 2006, James was voted DJ Mag's Breakthrough Artist by Fanciulli, Sander Kleinenberg and Fergie, while iDJ featured him alongside Max Sedgley and Braund Reynolds as "One To Watch" for the future.
His work alongside Audiofly on "Cool Wet Grass" was signed to Get Physical whilst "Eggs Are Cute" became one of the most successful releases on the NuRepublic label. Tall has since launched his own label "Spoken Recordings" as an outlet for his own material, and his releases "Remote", "Warm Milk" and "Pass Me The Suntan Lotion" have garnered the label's position as one of the most exciting newbies in the scene.
