Abhisit non-committal on Suvarnabhumi expansion
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Tuesday that Thai Airways International's decision to move domestic flights back to Suvarnabhumi has nothing to do with the government's pending decision on the single airport policy.
He said he has been waiting for the Transport Ministry's information on the number of passengers before making the decision on the single airport policy. Meanwhile, THAI's relocation is upto the company's decision.
He also noted that the government's decision on the airport policy would indicate if Suvarnabhumi Phase 2 development project could proceed as planned.
