Paradee guests help turtles

Paradee, a small luxury resort on Koh Samet, has donated Bt50,000 to a seaturtle conservation project.

The money comes from Paradee's "Adopt-a-Turtle" scheme, introduced last April, in which guests are invited to buy cotton turtle dolls and postcards.

Last week Hans Sporri, centre, and Kriengsak Hansa, right, handed a cheque to Somchai Monanunsap, who monitors the turtles on Mun Nai Island.
