Acer launches Aspire M5711 and Aspire M3710

The Acer Aspire M5711 and M3710 include the latest technologies in an elegant black design with stylish silver details. To improve ergonomics, USB ports and audio jacks are conveniently located on a raised area at the top of the machine together with a top media deck providing ample space for digital devices and personal items. Optical drive buttons are located on the side for ease of access, while the power button was designed to prevent accidental rebooting.

Built around a stunning, 'all-round entertainment' concept, the Aspire M5711 and M3710 integrate optimized 2nd generation Dolby Home Theater, high-definition 7.1-channel surround sound, and optical S/PDIF support to deliver superb audio quality for theater-like entertainment at home. With several optical drive options, including Blu-ray Disc™ or SuperMulti DVD burner, and the possibility of a digital/analog TV-tuner, the new Aspire desktop brings you the best digital entertainment experience.

The new Aspire desktop offers great connectivity and expansion options, with four USB 2.0 ports in the front and another four located to the rear, an IEEE 1394 port and a multi-in-one card reader supporting all the latest media formats, bringing multimedia content together with ease.

Supporting NVIDIA Hybrid SLI technology the Aspire M3710 is also forward-thinking by allowing select NVIDIA graphics cards to run parallel to the onboard GeForce 9200 for better 3D performance. Driven by Intel Core2 Duo or Intel Core2 Quad processors combined with up to 8 GB of fast DDR2 800 MHz memory, the M3710 carries out all multimedia and productivity requirements with ease.
