Treasury reserves to be used to replenish shortfall

Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij said the government would replenish the revenue shortfall with treasury reserves.

In a radio interview on Friday, he said tax collections in the 2009 fiscal year could be Bt120-Bt130 billion below target.

As of November 2008, treasury reserves stood at Bt91 billion.
