Teera Apaiwong, the senior execu¬tive vice president, said as the bank also had its business overseas, the bank was in a position to help Thais contact their relatives in their homeland, and also provide money transfer facilities to 100 countries free of charge.
Teera said: "Thais stranded overseas, regardless of whether they are our cus¬tomers or not, can ask for help at our 19 branches in 11 countries, which are located in financial and tourism cen¬tres, such as to use the Internet, mak¬ing a phone call, sending fax. If they need instant money transfer, we have our agencies in over 100 countries to provide the service free of charge," she added.
The receivers must bring their pass¬ports to get the cash within 30 minutes after sending.
