Pluem urges anti-PAD groups to vote for him

Outspoken TV host ML Nattakorn Devakul or better known as "Khun Pluem" applied as an independent gubernatorial candidate on Monday morning and got to contest under number 8.

Nattakorn who has strongly criticised the People's Alliance for Democracy in the media for its anti-government movement urged voters who disapproved with the PAD action to vote for him.

It is the second application day. Nattakorn is expected to face a stiff competition with his relative MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Democrat Party's choice for Bangkok Governor. The Democrats have won a landslide gubernatorial election twice consecutively.

Another maybe-dark horse candidate is corruption buster, Kaewsan Atibhoti who had said he would apply to run in the gubernatorial election as an independent candiate on the last application day. Kaewsan is known to support the PAD.
