Red shirts threatens to attack PAD

The Democratic's Alliance against Dictatorship on Thursday threatened to take the matter into their own hands if the government did not resort to Emergency Decree and bring in the police and military to take action against the People's Alliance for Democracy.

Veera Musikapong, a leader of the DAAD said on Thursday should the government did not act within today or tomorrow, the DAAD would evict the PAD from Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport. "We cannot make any delay because the country stands to lose,'' he said.

The DAAD also rejected the resolution by the panel monitoring the situation led by Army chief Anupong Paochinda that proposed Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat dissolve the House.

Meanwhile a group of 60 government MPs would propose to Somchai that he enforce the law within 24 hours to take action against the PAD.

Ekapoj Panyaem, Chart Thai Party MP and secretary of government whip said what the government can enforce immediately the Civil Court injunction to evict the PAD from the Suvarnabhumi Airport.
