Chart Thai Party's defence against dissolution coincides with its 34th Anniversary

The Chart Thai Party has scheduled this afternoon to file its defence on the party dissolution case at the Constitution Court coinciding with its today's 34th Anniversary celebrations, party deputy leader Nikorn Chamnong said on Wednesday.

The party has been accused of linking to the electoral fraud committed by its executive Monthien Songpracha in Chai Nat during the December 23 general election.

Nikorn said his party has opted to submit its defence arguments within the deadline instead of seeking an extension.
