Dumping the fuel surcharge
AirAsia has dropped fuel surcharges from all its international and domestic flights.
The lowcost airline is claiming to be the first in the world to have cut the charge completely.
As of last Tuesday, the passengers flying with AirAsia and AirAsia X will only have to pay for the ticket, airport taxes and administration fees.

Fallen heroes remembered Kanchanaburi again pays tribute to the heroes of World War II with the Bridge on the River Kwai Fair, which this year runs from November 29 to December 5. The bridge was constructed by Asian labourers and Western prisonersofwar under Japanese command at a cost of hundreds of thousands of lives.
The lightandsound show during the fair takes visitors back to the day in 1945 when the Allies bombarded the bridge. Also featured are a Miss Peace pageant, concerts and cultural shows.
