
Boonsong is also Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat's personal secretary.
"Deputy Prime Minister Olarn Chaipravat has already agreed to the plan," the MP said.
On Wednesday, many northern MPs called on Olarn to resign for failing to help corn farmers. Olarn talked to them later in the day.
"There's no problem. We can talk," Boonsong said.
Boonsong said Olarn did not address the corn price at the Cabinet meeting this week because he wanted to check on cornfarming costs first.
