
Fine Arts Department chief Kriangkrai Sampatchalit said the royal chariots and other ceremonial necessities would be moved from the National Museum to the front of Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm (Wat Pho) for the procession at 7am. The rehearsal would see the procession starting from the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, where the body of the late Princess is lying in state, to reach Sanam Luang at noon.
The procession of the royal urn would be rehearsed at 2pm.
The fourth minor rehearsal would be on October 19 and the full-dress rehearsal will be held on November 2, he said.
Group Captain Arvuth Ngoenchuklin, chairman of the working group on the royal crematorium design, said that besides the pillars with swan decorations and 20 northern-style flags from Nan province, two northern-style flags featuring the 12 zodiac animal year signs, would also be used to decorate the entrance to the ceremonial site.
