BenQ Sales climb sharply; launching Joybook S42 in Hi-end Notebook market

Bangkok- BenQ (Thailand) sets out its ambitious plan for Thailand's Notebook computer market by introducing its latest Joybook Series. New products featuring strong specification and elegant Victorian Design are aimed at middle to high-end markets. 

 

Teerawut Supapanpinyo, BenQ (Thailand), director of Sales and Marketing reveals that BenQ has successfully become one of Top Brands for Notebook computers. The company launch, today, its newest products, Joybook S42, S33 and S33W featuring latest technology-Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology, Mobile Intel GM45 chipset. Importantly, the S42 Joybook is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics engine, one of the best graphic card for better gaming performance and watching High Definition TV. With the new Victorian Design, it is a stylish replacement of the highly popular S41 and the company expects to see high sales volumes in this quarter" 

"The Notebook computer has expanded rapidly in the past 2 years and becomes a large market with expected sales of 1 million units this year. BenQ (Thailand) has also generated large portion of its revenues from the market. With the launch of Joybook S42, S33 and S33W, the company expects to have a big push for its already strong sales volumes which should reach 40,000 units of notebook this year. That will give them a 4% market shares in the booming market. We plan to promote its products through online marketing and below-the-line campaigns. We also plan to implement CRM program with current BenQ users as there are over 3,000 registered Users in BenQ club." said Teerawut.

Pattakorn Pornsiritivet, senior business development manager-Notebook, BenQ (Thailand) said that the company aims to capture all target customer groups through segmentation strategies. Its S42 is designed for young executives & heavy users demanding Premium High-performance Notebook.  Featuring the high-end NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics engines, it support Full HD output through HDMI Port along with Hybrid Graphic Cards to enable users to switch between onboard graphic card and split graphic cards which deliver a 5-hour-long battery life. It boasts a 14.1" WXGA LED screen, a Green Technology that saves 25 % more energy than typical notebooks with LCD screen while reducing heat emission. This LED screen is perfect for Gamers and Full HD TV Viewers as it has only 8 MS response time. Also bundled are the 2-megapixel web camera with large speakers and SRS TruSurround XT, a microphone with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology. Their prices starts from Bt39,900 while other comparable brands with less stylish design, cost over Bt43,000 . Therefore, company expects it to be a Big Hit as its predecessor, S41. 

 

Meanwhile BenQ Joybook S33 and S33W are targeted at mobile young generations by offering a light-weight 2-kilogram product in stylish Victorian design in Navy and Pearl White. It boasts exciting specifications as Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology, Mobile Intel GM45 chipset, a 13.3" Wide LCD Screen with 250-nit resolution with Benq"s DBEF (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film) and UltraVivid Technology. It also comes with a built-in 2-megapixel WEB CAM with SRS TruSurround XT™, a microphone and Wi-Fi αΕΠ Blue Tooth Technology. It starts at Bt29,900.
