Tutor king's 'friend' sued

The Criminal Court yesterday accepted a libel suit against Pemmika Veerachatraksit, a student who claims to be a close friend of "tutorial king" Prakitpao Thomthitchong.

She is charged for filing a faulty police complaint to frame others and giving false testimony.

Early last year, Pemmika told the police that Prakitpao had conflicts with his mother Ploenchit, his brother Prakitpan and his wife over how to run the tutorial school. She also accused Ploenchit and Prakitpan of having Prakitpao detained at a men¬tal hospital, thus giving Ploenchit access to his assets.
