
But people say a government department website says there's a Bt200 fee that covers the tour and a meal.
A private tour company is advertising the tours and quotes a fee, too.
Ministry chief Veera Rojanapojanarat says "there's no entrance fee and if people are asked to pay one, or for food or guides, don't. Let the ministry know". He promises the rogue tour company will be caught and prosecuted.
Meanwhile, the ministry might add extra tours to meet the unexpected demand.
