
Bangkok- BenQ (Thailand) introduced nine new models including the new MP Short Throw Series. The new models equipped with latest Short Throw technology is the first in Thailand that delivers extra large pictures in shorter distance.
Teerawut Supapanpinyo, BenQ (Thailand), director of Sales and Marketing reveals that BenQ has successfully retained its market leadership in Thai Digital Projector market for many reasons. Apart from producing high quality products, the company's strategies in combining technology innovation with stylish product design have exceeded various consumers' needs. In addition, the company provides excellent after-sales services.
"Each of the 9 Projectors is designed to appeal to specific customer segments from SME Segment, Office Segment, Hotel-restaurant segment, Education Segment and Home Entertainment segment. All models utilize DLP (Digital Light Processing) Technology by Texas Instrument, providing superior eye-friendly picture quality for longer life span than those with other technologies. In addition, Unishape technology will help increase the brightness by 40% and the color depth. However, the focus is on two latest models of the Short Throw series: MP 512 ST and MP 522 ST that can create shortest distance in Thailand while projecting a 55" Image. This 1-meter distance is twice shorter than a regular projector" said Teerawut.
"Ben Q plans a proactive marketing campaign via public relations, channel development, educasting dealers about DLP Technologies, doing joint marketing with dealers and all-year consumer events. These program will enhance BenQ brand awareness and create direct brand experience. The company hopes to create 200 million baht revenues from Projector business," said Teerawut
Nattapol Sanguansiri BenQ Business development manager said that Short Throw projector will provide more convenience. Ideal for both office formal presentation and small meeting room, the product also appeal to Home entertainment from a Home Theatre to favorite games-Nintendo Wii, XBOX 360 and other leading games. The brightness varies from 2,000 Ansi in MP 512 ST to 3,000 ansi with contrast ratio of 2000: 1 in MP 771.
"We hope that the launch of nine models will help the company retain its leadership in Thailand and expand its market shares in both Corporate, SME, Home Entertainment and Education market. The company has 12-15% market share with a 27% growth rate, exceeding an industry growth of 10%," said Nattapol.
