Thaksin remains active in politics: Abhisit
Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva on Thursday expressed concern that former prime mininster Thaksin Shinawatra was continuing to engage in politics inspite of his exile in London.
"Thaksin's latest statement clearly told his supporters to await his return," Abhisit said in reference to the hand-written statement from London on Monday.
He said whether the political animosity could dissipate would hinge on the parties concerned.
He called on the government to quickly rebut Thaksin's criticism on the Thai judicial system in order to shore up the international confidence.
