HP unveils a massive series of Consumer and Commercial Notebooks suites

BANGKOK, August 5, 2008 - HP today unveils new suites of consumer and commercial notebooks, ranging from the value-based Compaq brand to the premium HP brand. Pushes the boundaries of innovation and aesthetics, embodying the company's blend of mobile computing and design expertise in its suites of consumer notebooks and merges functionality with sophisticated design with the durable, aircraft-inspired suite of business notebooks, the HP EliteBook 

For the latest HP consumer notebooks, the entertainment-packed HP Pavilion dv4, dv5 and dv7 notebook series are each adorned with a sleek, liquid-metallic HP Imprint 2 surface design. Also new are four series in the Compaq Presario notebook PC line, the CQ20, CQ45, CQ40 and CQ50, which provide high value and attractive designs in an array of sizes and configurations. The CQ20, a HP Designed in Asia for Asia (DIAFA) product, will be uniquely available to Asia Pacific. 

For the HP commercial notebooks, the HP EliteBook is the first in a new family of notebooks joining the HP Compaq 2000, 6500, and 6700 series to create one of the most versatile business notebook portfolios in company history. These product families are distinguished by their contemporary look and design that provides the ultimate high-performing PC experience.
