The panel headed by Prateep Pruengwong will summon Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej and People Power Party secretary-general Dr Surapong Suebwonglee to give a statement on the case.
He said the panel may extend the investigation 15 more days if it felt that Samak must personally give his testimony.
He said the panel used the same standard of judgement in the PPP case as that of the Chart Thai Party and Matchima Thipataya Party.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej has been pushing for a speedy set up of a new political party in case the People Power Party (PPP) is dissolved following the disqualification of former House Speaker and PPP former deputy leader Yongyuth Tiyapairat, PPP executive member Saman Lertwonrat said on Monday.
Saman said Samak and PPP secretary-general Surapong Suebwonglee instructed the party leaders and the party executive board to register the new party by establishing enough branches and having enough members as required by the law.
Some PPP MPs and members can be transferred to the new party in time if the PPP is dissolved within the end of this month, he said.
One option for the party's name is Puea Thai Party, he added.
