Bangchak helps garlic growers

Bangchak Petroleum has purchased 65,000 kilogramme of garlic from Northern farmers, to help ease the falling price.

"This is part of our assistance to the Commerce Ministry's effort to support garlic prices," Bangchak President Anusorn Sangnimnuan said.

The garlic would be packed in small packets. From now until August 15, clients of all Bangchak stations nationwide with oil bills of Bt700 or more will receive one packet. Then, Bangchak will consider buying more garlic from farmers.
