Senior executive vice president Visanu Suchatlumpong said the company has to adjust its business plan because its pre-sales in the first half of this year were recorded at Bt4.43 billion, up 10 per cent from the same period last year.
Meanwhile, demand in the market is still growing. As a result the company's management decided to launch 12 new residential projects in the second half of this year. That combines with four new residential projects in the first half of this year to amount to 16 projects. Its original plan had been to launch 13 projects over the whole year.
Five of 12 new projects will be city condominiums under the brands "Life" and "The Address" worth Bt10.94 billion, while seven other projects worth Bt6.32 billion will be detached houses under new brands "The Centro" and "The City".
The first two of 12 new residential projects will be detached houses. The first project is "The Centro Sukhumvit 113" that will have 208 units with a total project value of Bt800 million. The second project is "The City Rattanathibet-Khaerai" with 216 units valued at Bt1.2 billion.
Visanu said the company believes its sales this year will meet the target presales of Bt15 billion after the company recorded pre-sales of Bt4.4 billion in the first half of this year: Bt3.2 billion from detached houses and Bt1.2 billion from condominiums.
