Two TV shows fail to make the grade

Two television programmes produced by Workpoint Entertainment, a leading television-production house, will be taken off air from channels 5 and this year after failing to boost ratings, says Bualuang Securities (Thailand).

Workpoint's programmes will be reduced to 16, from 18 broadcast now on free-to-air stations.

Bualuang Securities said the removal of the two programmes was due to a fall in both audience ratings and advertising over the past six months. The securities house has revised Workpoint's 2008 net profit forecast downwards 5 per cent. - The Nation
