Thaksin's assassination plot just a laugh: Sathirapan
Navy chief Adminral Sathirapan Keyanont on Tuesday played down a claim about a possible plot to assassinate former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, saying it was good for a laugh.
Sathirapan was reacting to comments by retired supreme commander General Chaisit Shinawatra who claimed last weekend Thaksin's opponents might have put out a contract.
He said the matter did not warrant any consideration.
