Clarification needed for court injunction relating to Preah Vihear Temple
The government should seek the clarification for the compliance of the injunction against the Thai-Cambodian joint communique on Preah Vihear Temple, Council of State secretary general Pornthip Jala said on Tuesday.
Pornthip spoke before attending the Cabinet meeting to debate the response to the order issued by the Central Administrative Court last week.
She said relevant authorities would have to ask for the court instruction on how to enforce the injunction, alluding to the fact that the communique had already been signed.
Regarding the planned appeal to revoke the injunction, she said the government had to carefully review its chance of overturning before making a next move.
