Farewell to Paper Tickets on Air France and KLM Flights

Air France and KLM announced that from June 1st the airlines have issued only e-tickets for their flights

Air France and KLM announced that from June 1st the airlines have issued only e-tickets for their flights, in compliance with recommendations stipulated by IATA.

E-ticketing is a secure form of ticketing that makes passengers' travel plans more efficient and less stressful, as all the travel data is stored electronically in the reservation system, can be accessed at any time and, unlike paper tickets, can never be lost or stolen.

At home, at the travel agent's or wherever there is internet access, passengers can check in online and print their boarding card at www.airfrance.co.th or www.klm.co.th and choose their seat from 30 hours before departure an up to the latest check-in time.

Air France and KLM has been gradually implementing on the entire network over the past few years to achieve 100% e-ticketing, which mark an important step for the air transport industry. Eliminating paper tickets will save the equivalent of 50,000 mature trees each year and save the airline industry up to USD 3 billion annually.
