Energy Ministry to promote E85 gasohol

Energy Minister Poonpirom Liptapanlop will discuss measures to promote E85 gasohol with BMW, Ford and Volvo next week, following the Cabinet's decision to speed up the high-ethanol-content alternative fuel to reduce oil imports.



She will also discuss plans with PTT and Bangchak to have both oil companies sell E85 at 30-50 service stations within 36 months. 

Susco to add three more NGV stations

Siam United Services (Susco) will offer natural gas for vehicles (NGV) at three more of its fuel stations after launching NGV filling facilities at three late last year.

A Susco executive said the NGV marketing margin of 80-90 satang a litre was enough to help the company reduce its losses from selling conventional fuels, for which margins are mostly below zero.

 

BGT in talks for Philippine factory

BGT, manufacturer of Body Glove apparel, is negotiating with a retailer in the Philippines over a possible joint venture that may see it achieve its plan to market its products as a retailer.

The company currently owns a wholesale firm in the Philippines.
