
Pracha Taerad, provincial governor of Chon Buri, recently recognised the facility for its outstanding performance in labour relations and labour welfare. The plant was also honoured for its participation in the country's White Factory programme, which is designed to curb substance abuse in the workplace.
The Chon Buri Department of Labour Protection and Welfare is responsible for establishing labour standards and maintaining an efficient and effective work environment in the province. TI Automotive's plant in Chon Buri produces fuel tanks for Nissan.

TI Automotive is a supplier of fluid storage, transfer and delivery systems, including brake, fuel and air conditioning applications.
With headquarters in Michigan in the United States and Oxford in England, the company employs more than 17,000 people at more than 100 facilities
in 27 countries on six continents. Annual sales in 2007 totalled approximately $2.8 billion (Bt90.6 billion).
