PAD plans rally
The People's Alliance for Democracy will today hold a press conference to announce a mass protest against the charter rewrite.
"The PAD will in the next 24 hours reveal details about the upcoming rally," spokesman Suriyasai Katasila said yesterday.
He said government politicians had distorted the facts relating to the charter amendments when their true motive was to help ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra evade the law. The PAD will also seek to impeach MPs who endorsed the motion to amend the charter, he said.
