
The leaflets contain remarks he made in English at the Foreign Correspondent Club of Thailand in 2007 but the wife had mistranslated into Thai, Jakrapob said, though refusing to reveal her name.
He said he was ready to release his translated version of the remarks as proof that he had not touched on the monarchy when commenting on the 2006 coup as alleged.
He said he was being faulted without any justification, arguing that he was a victim of a smear campaign designed discredit the government. The campaign will move on to target other ministers after he can clear his name, he said.
