Sak accused Waiyawat of publicly slandering him by giving interviews to several daily newspapers on February 15.
Sak said he waited for three months for Waiyawut to apologise him for what he said but now if he wanted to negotiate now, he had to settle the matter in the court.
Sak said he filed the suit on personal basis. The court scheduled the first hearing on July 21.
Waiyawut said he had no problems going to the court to fight the charges.
