Yongyuth accuses a witness of giving false testimony

Former house speaker Yongyuth Tiyapairat on Tuesday had his laywer file a complaint with police accusing a prime witness in the electoral fraud case of filing false testomony against him with the Supreme Court.



Pol Lt Kan Thiankaew, People Power Party deputy leader filed the complaint with crime suppression police accusing kamnan Chaiwat Changkaokam of Tambon Chanchawa, Chaiang Rai's Mae Chan District of filing false testimony with the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Political Office Holder last week.

Chaiwat was a state witness in the case the Election Commission disqualified Yongyuth accusing him of offering money to a group of kamnan including Chaiwat to vote for his sister and PPP MPs.

During last week court testimony, police also tried to arrest Chaiwat for an attempted murder charge but the court blocked the move.
