Raimon Land ropes in Bouygues-Thai for 'The River'



Luxury residential-property developer, Raimon Land, has awarded international construction conglomerate Bouygues-Thai a Bt550-million sub-structure contract for "The River" condominium project on Bangkok's Chao Phya River.

The contracts for the main superstructure and finishing works in the upscale condominium development are being negotiated by the two companies and an agreement is expected to be reached by June or July.

The 40-month construction programme for "The River" commenced last month and is scheduled to be completed by 2011.

Bouygues-Thai is also constructing Raimon Land's 376-unit "Northpoint" luxury-condominium project in Pattaya.

Fragrant Property plans condo project on Phetchaburi Road

Fragrant Property has introduced Circle Condominium project located close to Phetchaburi Road and Nana intersection.

The project has two buildings, one of them 30-storeys while the next one has 43-storeys, and have 901 units with prices starting at Bt2.8 million.

The construction licence has been applied for.

However, the company will start construction in December and expects to complete it by the end of 2011.

High-rise development

Equity Residential launches project at Asoke-Phetchaburi

Equity Residential recently launched "My Resort at Bangkok" on the Asoke-Phetchaburi road.

This is a high-rise condominium project that has a 35-storey building with 206 units with prices starting at Bt2.7 million. Construction is expected to be completed next year.

The project has three types of apartments - one-bedroom with one bathroom, two bedrooms with one bathroom and three bedrooms with two bathrooms.

 Knight Frank Chartered (Thailand) is the project sales agency.

Grand opening

Riverside Homes launches Sathorn-Rama III development

Riverside Homes Development recently introduced the Pano on Sathorn-Rama III. Of the total 397 units, 68 per cent have been sold.

In the project, 34 units are low-rise units and 363 units are high-rise units. It is expected to be completed by the middle of next year. The project offers prices between Bt100,000 and Bt150,000 per square metre.

Till the end of this month, buyers of units at the project can avail a 5-per-cent discount and a free gift voucher for luxury furniture from Decor Mart worth up to Bt6 million, depending on the price of the unit.
